What does a home inspection include?
The home inspection will cover the condition of the home’s heating system; central air conditioning system (temperature permitting); interior plumbing and electrical systems; roof; attic; visible insulation; walls; ceilings; floors; windows; doors; foundation; basement; crawlspace; and garage.

Do I have to be there for the inspection?
While it is not required for you to be present for the inspection, I encourage all my clients to accompany me during the inspection. You will then be able to ask questions about the condition of the home and learn how to maintain it.
How will I receive my inspection report?
My clients will receive an easy to read emailed electronic inspection report including summary sheets and digital photos within 48 hours of the completed inspection. I will also provide a copy of the report to your real estate agent with your permission.
How are inspections conducted?
I conduct my inspections using the standards and practices of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the State of Illinois.
